Vehicle Dynamics Software Engineer

As a Vehicle Dynamics Software Engineer, you’ll design system models and controllers using MATLAB/Simulink, develop and optimize control algorithms, and work hands-on to test and validate these systems on real hardware. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll play a key part in integrating control systems into our advanced platforms.
What you´ll be doing:
- Experience with designing system models and controllers using MATLAB/Simulink.
- Developing and optimizing control algorithms for electric vehicles.
- Analyzing and interpreting mathematical models for system stability, dynamics, and performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems into hardware platforms.
- Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of control systems on real hardware.
- Documenting technical designs, simulation results, and implementation processes.
You are a good fit if you have the following:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in informatics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control Systems, Applied Physics, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience dealing with vehicle dynamics.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling, control design, and simulation.
- Experience in control theory.
- Knowledge of vehicle dynamics and power electronics.
- Hands-on experience with controlling electric drives and real-time systems.
- Experience with robotics or automation systems.
- Hands-on experience with C++.
- Familiarity with digital signal processing (DSP) and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols e.g. CANopen, J1939.
