If you're prepared to embrace a can-do attitude and gain unparalleled experience by working closely with Milrem's engineers, then we want you! Our paid internship runs from June to August. This year we are targeting interns for our software department, production, project management, platforms, system integration and IT & security. The location of the internship can be either our Tallinn or Tartu office, depending on the team you would be joining.

For the software engineering we are looking an UI Software Engineer intern. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to the development of Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) while gaining real-world skills in a dynamic team. If you're eager to explore, innovate, and develop your technical expertise, we’d love to hear from you!

The UI Team is a dedicated software development team responsible for designing and developing user interfaces and enhancing the user experience for Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs). Our primary goal is to create intuitive, efficient, and high-performance interfaces that ensure seamless human-machine interaction.

What You Will Learn & Experience:

• An introduction to Milrem Robotics and its innovative robotics solutions.
• Hands-on experience with UGV user interface development.
• Understanding of software development workflows and methodologies.
• Exposure to real-world code review processes, receiving and providing feedback on code quality.
• First-hand experience of what it’s like to work in a professional software development team
• Participation in a practical field day, where you will get to see and interact with one of our UGVs – THEMIS.
• Inclusion in the UI team and company culture, with access to team meetings, company-wide events, and social activities.
