Lead Electrical Lab Engineer
Milrem Robotics, an exciting robotics company is searching for an innovator who sees electricity as a force of pure magic. If you thrive on testing, analyzing and refining cutting-edge technology, you might be our next LEAD ELECTRICAL LAB ENGINEER.
What you´ll be doing:
- Overseeing day-to-day lab activities, including test scheduling, resource allocation, and technician coordination.
- Establishing and enforcing lab protocols, especially those relating to high-voltage safety
- Ensuring lab equipment (e.g., HV power supplies, load banks, oscilloscopes, thermal cameras) are calibrated and maintained.
- Collaborate with electrical, systems, and mechanical engineers to develop test plans for HV and LV components like traction inverters, battery systems, and power distribution units.
- Direct and execute prototype validation tests, endurance testing, fault insertion tests etc.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and lab technicians, ensuring tests are set up and executed accurately.
- Troubleshoot test failures or anomalies, drive root cause analysis, and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure all tests are well-documented with procedures, configurations, and outcomes.
- Generate formal test reports, maintain lab logs, change records and data traceability
- Coordinate with development engineers to meet milestones.
- Following and creating the industry's (and Milrem's) best practices and processes.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience working with high voltage electrical systems.
- Experience working in a test lab in an automotive field.
- Experience in designing and/or building systems.
- Educational background in Engineering.
- Workshop experience, making harnesses and test setups.
- Experience with CAN bus communication and Dewesoft data acquisition systems will be a benefit.
