Product Manager - Autonomy and Intelligent Functions
"Bridge strategy, customer insight, and engineering to drive autonomy from vision to deployment — ensuring our vehicles deliver value where it matters most."
At Milrem Robotics, we are not just building technology – we are shaping how autonomy will be used in real-world missions. Our autonomous systems and intelligent functions are already enabling next-generation unmanned vehicles across defence and dual-use markets. We are now looking for a Product Manager to take ownership of our autonomy and intelligent functions product line, moving it from prototype to large-scale deployment and ensuring it delivers measurable value for customers in the field.
In this role, you will define the long-term vision while driving near-term delivery. You’ll be at the centre of a multidisciplinary environment, translating customer trials, operator feedback, and market intelligence into a clear roadmap that guides our engineering teams and empowers our sales organisation. This is a role where technical depth and business acumen meet, and where your decisions will directly influence the success of our vehicles on the ground.
Your Impact:
- Shape and own the autonomy roadmap as a critical enabler across multiple vehicle platforms.
- Turn customer trials and operator insights into product direction that creates measurable value.
- Balance commercial opportunities with technical feasibility, making trade-offs visible and accountable.
- Align stakeholders across engineering, sales, leadership, and partners around shared priorities.
- Enable a highly skilled engineering team to thrive by clearing obstacles and keeping focus on solving the hardest problems.
What you bring:
- Proven experience managing complex technical products at the intersection of software, hardware, and intelligent systems (autonomy, robotics, AI/ML, or advanced sensing).
- Technical fluency to engage confidently with robotics, perception, or autonomy engineers, while staying focused on customer and commercial outcomes.
- Experience working with field trials, safety-critical systems, or defence/dual-use programs is a strong plus.
- Solid grasp of market and business drivers — you know how technology choices connect to adoption, cost, and mission value.
- A leadership style that is collaborative, decisive, and structured: you keep multidisciplinary teams aligned and motivated.
What we offer:
At Milrem Robotics, you won’t just manage a roadmap — you’ll help shape how autonomy is used in the real world. Your work won’t stay on a slide deck: it will become part of vehicles deployed in the toughest environments, trusted by customers who count on them to perform.
You’ll be joining a team of sharp, motivated engineers and product leaders who thrive on solving hard problems. It’s a direct, no-nonsense culture — demanding at times, but built on trust, respect, and the shared excitement of building technology that matters.
We know great work requires balance and focus. That’s why we offer flexible working conditions, autonomy in how you structure your day, and time in the field with customers and operators — the places where insight really happens. You’ll have room to grow, whether that’s developing new skills, building structure where none exists, or taking on bigger responsibilities as our product and organisation scale.
If you’re ready to define how autonomy is applied in the field and shape the future of unmanned systems, we’d love to hear from you.
