Purchaser
We are looking for a Purchaser to join Milrem Robotics and support daily operational purchasing in a project-based manufacturing environment. In this role, you will contribute directly to the development and production of advanced autonomous and robotic defence systems by ensuring material availability, reliable supplier cooperation, and strong internal stakeholder support.
This position plays a key role in enabling engineering, prototyping, and production teams to deliver complex, mission-critical solutions on time and with high quality.
What you´ll be doing:
Execute daily operational purchasing, including placing purchase orders based on purchase requisitions and ensuring timely receipt of goods and services.
Manage the full order lifecycle from order placement to delivery, ensuring accurate documentation.
Monitor and track deliveries and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time and correct delivery.
Support inventory availability and initiate reordering to avoid stock shortages.
Handle purchasing for prototyping projects with a focus on speed and accuracy.
Expedite orders when needed to meet project and production timelines.
Communicate regularly with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding order status and requirements.
Support cost monitoring and ensure purchases align with budget expectations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain accurate procurement records.
Collaborate closely with engineering, production, logistics, and finance teams.
What we´re looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience in operational purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management in manufacturing or project-based industries.
Understanding an industrial manufacturing environment is essential (e.g. from mechanical, production, vehicle, or similar industries).
Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and procurement software.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Detail-oriented, accurate, and strong problem-solving skills.
Comfortable with routine and repetitive tasks.
Ability to work independently but at the same time as a team player in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Very good communication and cooperation skills in English and Estonian.
