Design the future of robotics this summer.

Milrem Robotics is looking for motivated students to join our Summer Internship Programme. This paid internship runs for one month during the summer months from June to August and offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and specialists on real projects.

This year, we are welcoming interns across several teams, including IT, Autonomy, Middleware, Mobility Core, Emerging Platforms and Production.

About the Team

The Production Quality team ensures that Milrem Robotics’ robotic platforms meet the highest standards of reliability, safety and performance before they reach customers.

The team works closely with production engineers, inspectors, testers and product development teams to detect quality issues, analyse root causes and continuously improve manufacturing processes.

Our work includes incoming component inspection, production quality control, defect analysis, testing validation and continuous improvement of production processes.

Your Internship Project

During the internship, you will work on projects that contribute directly to improving production quality processes.

This will include:

• Supporting quality inspections of mechanical and electrical components used in robotic platforms

• Assisting with analysing production quality data and identifying recurring issues

• Supporting root cause investigations for production defects

• Improving documentation and quality control procedures

• Assisting with ERP-based quality reporting and inspection documentation

• Supporting functional testing documentation for robotic platforms

This internship will give you hands-on experience and real insight into how high-tech robotic platforms are manufactured, tested and validated in a professional production environment.

We are looking for students who:

• Are studying Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or a related technical field

• Are interested in robotics, manufacturing or production engineering

• Are curious, proactive and eager to learn

• Are comfortable working in a team environment

• Are detail-oriented and interested in quality and engineering processes

Previous experience with the below will be beneficial, but not essential

• Technical drawings or CAD

• Basic manufacturing processes

• Measurement tools or laboratory equipment

• Quality management or production systems

• ERP systems or data analysis tools

Interviews will take place, preferably in person in Tallinn, during the weeks commencing 20 April and 27 April. Selection for interviews is based on the submitted application.
