Chief Information Officer
Are you a senior IT leader who can combine strategic thinking with a strong understanding of how technology supports day-to-day business operations? We are looking for a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead and execute the IT strategy across Milrem Group.
In this role, you will ensure that IT is reliable, secure, and scalable, while being closely aligned with business needs. You will work as a trusted partner to senior leadership, strengthening IT foundations, improving service quality, and supporting the company’s continued growth.
This is a key leadership role for someone who can bring together technology, business understanding, and stakeholder management. You will also play a central role in leading Milrem’s journey towards ISO 27001 certification, embedding strong information security, governance, and risk management practices across the organisation.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Define and execute a business-aligned IT and digital transformation strategy that supports growth, innovation, and operational efficiency;
Partner with executive leadership and key stakeholders to ensure IT priorities support business goals;
Strengthen collaboration between IT and the wider organisation, positioning IT as a trusted business partner;
Lead the development of a secure, resilient, and scalable IT environment across infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, and service management;
Drive progress towards ISO 27001 certification and improve governance, compliance, and risk management practices;
Develop and lead a high-performing IT team with strong ownership and delivery capability;
Establish and continuously improve IT processes and ways of working to ensure clarity, efficiency, and scalability across the organisation;
Ensure reliable IT services across a multi-site organization;
Manage IT budgeting, vendor relationships, and technology investments;
Provide leadership during critical IT incidents and ensure effective response capabilities.
You are a good fit if you have:
Proven senior leadership experience (e.g. CIO, Head of IT, IT Director, Head of Infrastructure, Head of DevOps);
Strong track record of aligning IT strategy with business outcomes in growing, complex, regulated, or technology-driven environments;
Demonstrated experience leading or significantly contributing to ISO 27001 or similar information security and compliance initiatives;
Solid understanding of infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, DevOps, and IT operations;
Experience leading technical teams and working with cross-functional stakeholders;
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
Experience in multi-site or international environments is an advantage;
A degree in Computer Science, Software Development or other Tech fields.
