Engineering Manager - Test & Verification team
Milrem Robotics is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Test & Verification team and help shape the future of the autonomous unmanned ground vehicles domain.
This is a unique opportunity to combine people leadership, technical problem-solving, and operational planning in a fast-paced engineering environment.
As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance, development, and effectiveness of the Test & Verification team, leading a small team of three senior Test & Verification engineers and ensuring the successful delivery of testing and validation activities across Milrem's product portfolio.
What you'll be doing:
Lead, coach, and develop the Test & Verification team, including performance management, career development, recruitment, and workload planning to ensure successful delivery across multiple programs and projects.
Lead the planning and execution of testing and verification activities, ensuring effective allocation of resources and balancing competing priorities across development programs, demonstrations, customer activities, and EU-funded projects.
Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Programs, Manufacturing, Delivery, Procurement, and other key stakeholders to align priorities and support successful project execution.
Drive continuous improvement in team processes, planning, communication, and operational effectiveness.
Support the long-term development of testing capabilities, resource planning, and investment decisions within the Test & Verification function.
You are a good fit if you have the following:
At least 2 years of people leadership experience leading technical or engineering teams.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working with complex hardware systems, vehicles, robotics, industrial equipment, defence systems, or similar products.
Experience with testing, validation, verification, systems engineering, or product development activities.
Strong planning, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
